Crochet – sleeping mats for homeless people from reused plastic bags
10:30 to 12:30
31-01-20

We continue working and playing towards making sleeping mats for homeless people from reused plastic in this weekly event as part of the Plastic Free Swindon campaign.  The idea initially came about through sharing this article to the local Homeless Helping Hands group.  A kind offer of help led to this ongoing event.

All levels of crocheting, beginners to experienced welcome.  Friendly, patient instructor in the relaxed Baker’s Cafe, located in the scenic Railway Village.  New menu includes vegan options.  All are welcome.  Children to be accompanied by a responsible adult, thanks.

Venue: The Baker’s Cafe, 16 Emlyn Square, Swindon, SN1 5BN.
